World Vision Organization is ready to cooperate with the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Vocational Training


(Phnom Penh): HE Som Chamnan, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, High Representative, HE Heng Sour, on Thursday afternoon, March 14, 2024, met with Mr. Janes Imanuel Ginting, Country Director of World Vision. World Vision) at the Ministry.



During the meeting, the Secretary of State presented the vision of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Vocational Training, which is the five-year strategy of the Ministry in line with the Pentagon strategy of the Royal Government of Cambodia in the seventh mandate to provide further improvement to society. In addition, the Secretary of State briefed the World Vision delegation on the National Program on Technical and Vocational Training for 1.5 Million Poor and Vulnerable Youth, a program that provides rapid skills training to young people. Be specific and get a decent job in the market. Taking that opportunity, HE Secretary of State also requested the organization to help disseminate this 1.5 million technical skills training project to the youth to make this program more widespread.



At the same time, the Country Director of World Vision stated that as a partner organization of the government, World Vision also has a vision to strengthen human resource capacity in line with the Royal Government of Cambodia's Pentagon strategy. In addition, the delegation also praised the services of the National Social Security Fund, which has been providing excellent services to the people.


However, the country director of World Vision said his organization was ready to cooperate with the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training.
